What Makes Summer Camp, Summer Camp?

The music of course! Don’t worry, there WILL be music – the most obvious element that SCamp could never be without. It definitely wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t have moe. and Umphrey’s AND if you’ve been paying close attention, there are already a handful of artists who have shared contests to win you tickets to next year’s fest such as Keller Williams & The Werks (make sure you go enter!). The carefree spirit. At Summer Camp, we all dance together, but certainly to the beat of our own drum. This is one of my most favorite elements of the festival. The first year I went, I was totally worried about dancing and what everyone would think, but at the first stage we went to, I looked around, and not a single person was looking at me. Everyone was having the absolute time of their lives, and I was about to miss out big time because I was nervous. Of course I then let it go, and proceeded to have the time of my life as well.
